॥ શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણો વિજયતે ॥
॥ સત્સંગદીક્ષા ॥
स्वोपयोगाऽनुसारेण प्रकुर्यात् सङ्ग्रहं गृही।
अन्नद्रव्यधनादीनां कालशक्त्यनुसारतः॥ १९६॥
ગૃહસ્થ પોતાના ઉપયોગને અનુસારે તથા સમય-શક્તિ અનુસાર અનાજ, દ્રવ્ય કે ધનાદિનો સંગ્રહ કરે. (૧૯૬)
Householders should save provisions, money and other possessions according to their needs, circumstances and means. (196)
अन्नफलादिभिश्चैव यथाशक्ति जलादिभिः।
पालिताः पशुपक्ष्याद्याः संभाव्या हि यथोचितम्॥ १९७॥
પાળેલાં પશુ-પક્ષી વગેરેની અન્ન, ફળ, જળ ઇત્યાદિ વડે યથાશક્તિ ઉચિત સંભાવના કરવી. (૧૯૭)
According to one’s means, one should provide suitable food, fruits, water and other sustenance for one’s domesticated animals and birds. (197)
धनद्रव्यधरादीनां प्रदानाऽऽदानयोः पुनः।
विश्वासहननं नैव कार्यं न कपटं तथा॥ १९८॥
ધન, દ્રવ્ય કે ભૂમિ વગેરેની લેણ-દેણમાં વિશ્વાસઘાત તથા કપટ ન કરવાં. (૧૯૮)
One should not betray the trust of or deceive others in transactions involving wealth, objects, land or other commodities. (198)
प्रदातुं कर्मकारिभ्यः प्रतिज्ञातं धनादिकम्।
यथावाचं प्रदेयं तत् नोनं देयं कदाचन॥ १९९॥
કર્મચારીઓને જેટલું ધન આદિ આપવાનું વચન આપ્યું હોય તે વચન પ્રમાણે તે ધન આદિ આપવું પણ ક્યારેય ઓછું ન આપવું. (૧૯૯)
One should pay employees the amount of money or other forms of remuneration agreed upon, but should never give less. (199)
नैव विश्वासघातं हि कुर्यात् सत्सङ्गमाश्रितः।
पालयेद् वचनं दत्तं प्रतिज्ञातं न लङ्घयेत्॥ २००॥
સત્સંગીએ વિશ્વાસઘાત ન કરવો. આપેલું વચન પાળવું. પ્રતિજ્ઞાનું ઉલ્લંઘન ન કરવું. (૨૦૦)
A satsangi should not commit betrayal. One should uphold one’s promise. A pledge should not be broken. (200)
