चौर्यं न कर्हिचित् कार्यं सत्सङ्गमाश्रितैर्जनैः।

धर्मार्थमपि नो कार्यं चोरकार्यं तु कर्हिचित्॥३१॥

સત્સંગીઓએ ચોરી ક્યારેય ન કરવી. ધર્મને અર્થે પણ ચોરી ક્યારેય ન કરવી. (૩૧)

ENG

Satsangis should never steal. Even for the sake of dharma, one should never commit theft. (31)

नैवाऽन्यस्वामिकं ग्राह्यं तदनुज्ञां विना स्वयम्।

पुष्पफलाद्यपि वस्तु सूक्ष्मचौर्यं तदुच्यते॥३२॥

પુષ્પ, ફળો જેવી વસ્તુ પણ તેના ધણીની પરવાનગી વગર ન લેવી. પરવાનગી વગર લેવું તે સૂક્ષ્મ ચોરી કહેવાય છે. (૩૨)

One should never take even objects such as flowers or fruits without the consent of their owners. Taking without consent is a subtle form of theft. (32)

मनुष्याणां पशूनां वा मत्कुणादेश्च पक्षिणाम्।

केषाञ्चिज्जीवजन्तूनां हिंसा कार्या न कर्हिचित्॥३३॥

ક્યારેય મનુષ્ય, પશુ, પક્ષી, તથા માંકડ આદિક કોઈ પણ જીવજંતુઓની હિંસા ન કરવી. અહિંસા પરમ ધર્મ છે, હિંસા અધર્મ છે એમ શ્રુતિ-સ્મૃત્યાદિ શાસ્ત્રોમાં સ્પષ્ટ કહેવામાં આવ્યું છે. (૩૩-૩૪)

श्रुतिस्मृत्यादिशास्त्रेषु स्फुटमेवं प्रकीर्तितम्॥३४॥
