स्वदुर्गुणान् अपाकर्तुं संप्राप्तुं सद्‌गुणांस्तथा।

सत्सङ्गाऽऽश्रयणं कार्यं स्वस्य परममुक्तये॥१२६॥

સત્સંગનો આશરો પોતાના દુર્ગુણોને ટાળવા, સદ્‌ગુણોને પ્રાપ્ત કરવા અને પોતાના પરમ કલ્યાણ માટે કરવો. (૧૨૬)

One should take the refuge of satsang to rid oneself of flaws, acquire virtues and attain ultimate moksha. (126)

प्रसन्नतां समावाप्तुं स्वामिनारायणप्रभोः।

गुणातीतगुरूणां च सत्सङ्गमाश्रयेत् सदा॥१२७॥

સ્વામિનારાયણ ભગવાન તથા ગુણાતીત ગુરુઓની પ્રસન્નતા પ્રાપ્ત કરવા સદા સત્સંગનો આશરો કરવો. (૧૨૭)

One should forever take the refuge of satsang to attain the pleasure of Swaminarayan Bhagwan and the Gunatit gurus. (127)

अहो इहैव नः प्राप्तावक्षरपुरुषोत्तमौ।

तत्प्राप्तिगौरवान्नित्यं सत्सङ्गानन्दमाप्नुयात्॥१२८॥

અહો! આપણને અક્ષર અને પુરુષોત્તમ બંને અહીં જ મળ્યા છે. તેમની પ્રાપ્તિના કેફથી સત્સંગના આનંદને સદાય માણવો. (૧૨૮)

O! We have attained both Akshar and Purushottam here [in this life]. With the joy of having attained them, one should always relish the bliss of satsang. (128)

सेवाभक्तिकथाध्यानतपोयात्रादि साधनम्।

मानतो दम्भतो नैव कार्यं नैवेर्ष्यया तथा॥१२९॥

સેવા, ભક્તિ, કથા, ધ્યાન, તપ તથા યાત્રા ઇત્યાદિ સાધન કરીએ તે માને કરીને, દંભે કરીને, ઈર્ષ્યાએ કરીને, સ્પર્ધાએ કરીને, દ્વેષે કરીને કે પછી લૌકિક ફળની ઇચ્છાથી ન જ કરવું. પરંતુ શ્રદ્ધાએ સહિત, શુદ્ધભાવથી અને ભગવાનને રાજી કરવાની ભાવનાથી કરવું. (૧૨૯-૧૩૦)

One should never perform sevā, devotion, discourses, meditation, austerities, pilgrimages and other endeavors out of vanity, pretense, jealousy, competition, enmity or for the attainment of worldly fruits. However, they should be performed with faith, pure intentions and the wish to please Bhagwan. (129–130)

स्पर्धया द्वेषतो नैव न लौकिकफलेच्छया।

श्रद्धया शुद्धभावेन कार्यं प्रसन्नताधिया॥१३०॥

સેવા, ભક્તિ, કથા, ધ્યાન, તપ તથા યાત્રા ઇત્યાદિ સાધન કરીએ તે માને કરીને, દંભે કરીને, ઈર્ષ્યાએ કરીને, સ્પર્ધાએ કરીને, દ્વેષે કરીને કે પછી લૌકિક ફળની ઇચ્છાથી ન જ કરવું. પરંતુ શ્રદ્ધાએ સહિત, શુદ્ધભાવથી અને ભગવાનને રાજી કરવાની ભાવનાથી કરવું. (૧૨૯-૧૩૦)
