નિરૂપણ
(૧) જેના અંતરમાં કામ ક્રોધ લોભની લાહ્ય બળે
મુંબઈમાં જ્ઞાનસત્ર
રવિવાર, તા. ૨૭-૭-’૫૨. સવારે મુંબઈ પધાર્યા. ભૂલેશ્વરમાં શેઠ ભગવાન કલ્યાણની વાડીમાં સંતોનો ઉતારો હતો... સ્વામીશ્રી સૌને કથામૃતમાં રસ-તરબોળ કરતા. તેમની વાતોનો સાર આ હતો:
“દેહના ભાવથી ઉપાસનાનો ભંગ થાય છે. દેહને દ્રવ્ય દેનાર મળે કે દીકરો દેનાર મળે તો તરત મન ત્યાં ચોટે અને ઉપાસનાનો ભંગ થાય. ખરા રાજહંસ હોય તે તો ચાંચ મારે ત્યાં દૂધ-પાણી જુદાં કરી નાખે. તેમ ખરા પરમહંસ હોય તેની વાતોથી જગત ખોટું થઈ જાય અને મુક્ત, અક્ષર અને પુરુષોત્તમ એ ત્રણ સિવાય બીજું કાંઈ રહેવા દે નહિ. એવા ખરા પરમહંસો મહારાજના વખતમાં હતા અને આજે નહિ હોય એમ માનવું નહિ. એ તો હોય જ, પરંતુ સમાગમે કરીને ઓળખાય. નકલી હોય તેને છ મહિના રાખી, દૂધપાક-પૂરી જમાડીએ તોપણ અંતરમાં ટાઢું ન થાય.”
તે ઉપર નિષ્કુળાનંદ સ્વામીનું પદ બોલ્યા:
‘એવા બહુ કરતા હોય બોધ તે સાંભળ્યે શું વળે.’
‘... જે જમાડીએ તે પણ જાય, ખાધું જે હરામીએ.’
“જેટલો મોટાપુરુષનો સમાગમ એટલો લાભ. સ્વામીએ બ્રહ્માંડ ભરાય એટલી વાતો કરી છે, પણ જેટલી હૈયામાં રાખી હોય તેટલી શાંતિ. વરસાદનું પાણી તો બધે પડે છે અને દરિયામાં ચાલ્યું જાય છે, પણ જો ટાંકા ભરી રાખ્યા હોય તો કામમાં આવે. માટે જેટલી વાતો સાંભળી હોય તેનું શ્રવણ, મનન અને નિદિધ્યાસ કરવાથી જ સાક્ષાત્કાર થશે. જેવી પ્રાપ્તિ અને સંબંધ થયો છે એવો સમજાય તો બીજે ખોળવા નહિ જવું પડે. જ્યારે યથાર્થ જ્ઞાન થશે ત્યારે ભગવાનનાં દર્શન થશે...”

Nirupan
(1) Jenā antarmā kām krodh lobhnī lāhya baḷe
Sunday, July 27, 1952. Mumbai. The sadhus were staying on the campus of Bhuleshwar Sheth Bhagwan Kalyan. Swamishri Yogiji Maharaj had immersed everyone in the bliss of his discourses. This was the essence of his talk:
“Consciousness of one’s self as the body causes a breach in one’s upāsapā. If a devotee meets someone who gives them money or a son (i.e. blesses them so he acquired money or a son), then he would instantly become attached to him, leading to a breach in his upāsanā. If he is a genuine royal swan, then wherever he immerses his beak, he can separate milk from water. Similarly, only a genuine paramhansa can falsify the world in others’ hearts with his talks and will not allow anything to remain in their heart except muktas, Akshar, and Purushottam. Do not think that such paramhansas existed in Maharaj’s time and do not exist today. They exist. We can identify them only by associating with them. If we keep false (paramhansas) for six months, serve them dudhpāk-puri, even so, we will not feel peace inside.”
On that, Swamishri sang Nishkulanand Swami’s verse:
Evā bahu kartā hoy bodh, te sāmbhaḷye shu vaḷe...
Je jamāḍīe te paṇ jāy, khādhu je harāmīe...
(They [pseudo-sadhus] will preach a lot, but what can we gain from listening to them? Whatever we feed them is in vain, we do not receive any fruit from that.)
“The more samāgam we do of the Mota-Purush, the more we benefit. [Gunatitanand] Swami has talked enough to fill the whole brahmānd, but whatever talks we saved in our hearts is the amount of peace we will experience. The rain falls everywhere and the water runs into the ocean. Only the little we collect in tanks is useful to us. Therefore, how much talks we have listened to should be remembered and contemplated on; only then will we see the talks materialize. If we understand what we have attained and who we are related to, then we will not have to find anyone elsewhere. When we gain thorough gnān, then we will have the darshan of God.”
