કીર્તન મુક્તાવલી
નિરૂપણ
(૧) તન ધન જાતાં હરિજન હોય તે હરિભક્તિથી નવ ચળે
દૃઢતા ધારે તે મુખિયા
સાંજે મંદિરમાં ‘હરિગુણ ગાતાં...’ ભજન ગવરાવ્યું, તેમાં - ‘એવી દૃઢતા ધારે તે મુખિયા...’ એ પંક્તિ આવી, તે ઉપર સમજાવતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું:
“દૃઢતા શું? મહારાજનો આશરો તે દૃઢતા. શ્રીજીમહારાજ જેવા કોઈ ભગવાન નહિ. મૂળ અક્ષરમૂર્તિ ગુણાતીતાનંદ સ્વામી અને શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ એ મોક્ષનું દ્વાર – આ ત્રણની દૃઢતા હોય તે દુઃખિયો નહિ. આ જેને નથી તે દુઃખિયા.
“આ સાધુ આપણા છે અને આપણે તેના છીએ - એ દૃઢતા. લાખો માણસ દુનિયામાં છે, પણ આપણા કોઈ છે? આપણા સ્વામિનારાયણ ભગવાન છે. મહારાજે રામાનંદ સ્વામી પાસે માગ્યું: ‘મારા ભક્તનું દુઃખ મને આવો, તેના નસીબમાં રામપત્તર હોય તો તે મને આવો. મારો ભક્ત અન્ન-વસ્ત્રે સુખી રહો.’”
પછી સ્વામીશ્રીએ બધી સભાને પૂછ્યું, “આવી દૃઢતા બધાને છે કે નથી? કાંઈ આડો-અવળો સાંધો છે?
“માતા, મહાદેવ, શિકોતેરમાં પ્રતીતિ આવવા ન દેવી. મહારાજ સિવાય બીજે દિવેટ ન પલળે.
“આવી દૃઢતા હોય, પછી તે ભક્ત ગમે ત્યાં હોય પણ મહારાજ અન્ન-વસ્ત્ર તેને આપે. લાખો પૌંડ જાય પણ દૃઢતા જવી ન જોઈએ.”

Nirupan
(1) Tan dhan jātā harijan hoy te haribhaktīthī nav chaḷe
One Who Bears Firmness are Chief
At night, Yogiji Maharaj had ‘Harigun gātā...’ sung. The line ‘Evi dradhatā dhāre te mukhiyā’ was sung. Swamishri explained:
“What is dradhatā (firmness)? The firm refuge in Maharaj is dradhatā. There is no God like Shriji Maharaj. Mul Aksharmurti Gunatitanand Swami and Shastriji Maharaj are the gateway to moksha. One who has firmness in these three will not experience misery. Those who do not have such firmness are miserable.
“This Sadhu belongs to me and I belong to this Sadhu - that is firmness. There are thousands of people in this world. Do any of them belong to us? Only Bhagwan Swaminarayan is ours. Maharaj asked from Ramananad Swami: ‘Let the misery of my devotees come to me instead; and if they are destined for a begging bowl, let it come to me. Let my devotees be happy in terms of food and clothes.’”
Then, Swamishri asked the sabhā, “Does everyone have this level of firmness or not? Do you have any other wayward connections? (i.e. seek refuge in other deities other than Maharaj?)
“We should not fall for Mata, Mahadev, Shikoter, etc. We should light the divo (do ārti) of only Maharaj and no one else.
“If a devotee has such firmness, then no matter where that devotee goes, Maharaj will give him food and clothes. Even if one loses thousands of pounds, firmness should not be lost.”
