(૧) મોહનને ગમવાને ઇચ્છો માનની
સત્યની સાચી સમજ
તા. ૧૯૮૨/૧૨/૬ની સાંજે પણ સ્મૃતિમંદિરના સત્રમાં પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજે ‘મોહનને ગમવાને ઇચ્છો...’ પદ પર સદુપદેશ આપતાં કહ્યું:
“ભગવાનને ગમે તેમ કરો. ‘સત્-યુગ આયેગા’ એવું લખે છે પણ ભગવાનની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે રહીએ તો સત્યુગ છે. દુનિયામાં કતલખાનાં કરે પણ મંદિર કરે તો કહેશે, ‘પથ્થર ખડકવાની શી જરૂર છે?’ પણ સત્યુગ આવશે તો તેવાં મંદિરો ને તેમાં સેવા-ભક્તિ કરતા સંતોને લઈને આવશે. ‘સત્યમેવ જયતે’ સૂત્ર ભારતે રાખ્યું છે પણ તે જ્યારે વર્તનમાં આવશે તે દિવસે સુખી થવાશે. સત્ય કંઈ બીજું આવવાનું નથી. ભગવાન ને સંત અને તેમનાં આદેશ ને કાર્ય એ જ સત્યની મૂર્તિ છે. શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ વગેરેને મંદિરો કરી શું તેમાં મહાલવું હતું? તેમના એક એક પથ્થરમાં સત્ય છે. આપણે એ માર્ગે ચાલવું નથી ને ઉભાંગડ ચાલવું છે. પછી દુઃખ આવે જ ને!
“લોકમાં તો અજ્ઞાન છે, તે ગમે તેમ બોલે. અત્યારે સારા સારા ડાહ્યા માણસો પણ કહે કે, ‘તમે બ્રહ્મમાં ભેદ કેમ પાડ્યો? સ્ત્રી સાથે વાત કરો.’ પણ આપણે શ્રીજીમહારાજના છીએ તો સ્ત્રી અને દ્રવ્યનો ત્યાગ બરાબર રાખવો. તેની ‘ના’ પાડનાર ડાહ્યા હોય તો તેના ઘરના ડાહ્યા. હાથ-પગ કપાય તો વાંધો નહીં, પણ ગળું કપાય તો? તેમ સ્ત્રી-ધનનો ત્યાગ બરાબર પાળવો.”
પોતાની સચોટ વાણીમાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ સત્યની સાચી સમજ ચીંધી દીધી.

(1) Mohanne gamvāne īchchho mānnī
The True Meaning of Satya
June 12, 1982. During the evening discourse at the Smruti Mandir (Sarangpur), Pramukh Swami Maharaj gave blessings on the kirtan Mohanne gamavāne ichchho mānavi...:
“Do what pleases God. People write: ‘Satya-yug will come.’ However, if we obey God’s commands, then that is Satya-yug. People build slaughter houses; however, when a mandir is built, they say, ‘Why is there a need?’ But, when Satya-yug comes, it will bring mandirs and sadhus who will offer service and devotion in them. Bhārat (India) has adopted the motto ‘Satyamev jayate’ (victory to truth), however, when it is practiced, people will become happy. There is no other satya that is coming. God, the Sant, following their commands, and their works is the embodiment of satya. Did Shastriji Maharaj want to relax and enjoy in the mandirs he built? (i.e. He built the mandirs for the people.) Each stone [of the mandir] is satya. If we do not want to walk that way (path of satya) and walk the other way, then of course we will experience misery.
“There is ignorance in the general public, so they will say as they please. However, even the wise people say, ‘Why did you make distinctions in Brahman? You should talk to women.’ But we belong to Shriji Maharaj, so we should firmly renounce women and wealth. The wise who go against that are wise in their own home. If the hand and feet are cut off, it is okay, but if the neck is cut? So firmly separate from women and wealth.”
