નિરૂપણ
(૧) માવજી મુજ પર ખૂબ અઢળક ઢળ્યા
આસો વદ બારસે અક્ષર દેરીમાં પ્રાતઃકથામાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ સનાતન સ્વામી પાસે ‘માવજી મુજ પર ખૂબ અઢળક ઢળ્યા...’ એ પ્રભાતી-પદ ગવરાવ્યું. તે સમજાવતાં પોતે કહ્યું:
“માહરું મંદિર ધામ કીધું, શું? ચૈતન્યમાં ભગવાન બિરાજ્યા તે.
“બિરદ શું? અનંત જીવોને ધામમાં લઈ જવા તે.
“અધિક સુખ શું? ખાવા-પીવાનું? ના. બ્રહ્મરૂપ કરવા અને એકાંતિકનું સુખ આપવું તે.”
પછી એક સેવાભાવી હરિભક્તને સંબોધતાં કહ્યું કે, “માત્ર સેવા કરવી, એમ ન માનવું. જ્ઞાન પણ શીખવું, તો દેશકાળ ન લાગે. જૂનાગઢમાં હરિભક્ત આવ્યા હતા તે પંગતમાં જમવા બેઠા. બ્રહ્મચારી ખીચડીમાં ઘી આપવાનું ભૂલી ગયા. તે કહે, ‘જોયું ને! આપણે દૂધપાક જમાડીએ છીએ ને આપણને ઘી ન આપ્યું.’ સભામાં આવી સ્વામીને કહે, ‘લો આ કંઠી.’ સ્વામીએ કારણ પૂછ્યું. તો કહે, ‘ખીચડીમાં ઘી ન આપ્યું.’ સ્વામી કહે, ‘ઘી ખાવા સત્સંગ કર્યો છે!’ કંઠી પાછી લઈ લીધી. પછી કૃષ્ણચરણ સ્વામીએ વાતો કરી તેને સમજાવ્યો અને સત્સંગમાં રાખ્યો. માટે જ્ઞાન શીખવું.
“બે વાત છે: સંસારમાંથી ઉદાસ થાય તો ભગવાનમાં હેત થાય ને સંસારમાં હેત થાય તો ભગવાનથી છૂટો રહે. બેમાંથી એક થાય.” પછી પંક્તિ આવી, ‘વિવિધ વિનોદ કરતાં વિહારી...’ એટલે પૂછ્યું, “વિનોદ એટલે શું?” પોતે જ કહ્યું, “ભગવાનને હાર પહેરાવવા, થાળ કરવા, તે વિનોદ કહેવાય.”
“‘આડ સર્વે ટળી. એ આડ શું? જગતની, મનની બધી આડ છોડી દીધી.”

Nirupan
(1) Māvajī muj par khūb aḍhaḷak ḍhaḷyā
On Aso vad 12, Yogiji Maharaj had Sanatan Swami sing the ‘prabhāti pad’ (verses sung in the morning): Māvji muj par khub adhalak dhalyā... Explaining the verse, Swamishri said:
“Māharu mandir dhām kidhu. (He made my mandir a dhām.) What does that mean? God resided in my chaitanya (ātmā).
“What does ‘birud’ mean? To take infinite jivas to his dhām.
“What does ‘adhik sukh’ (increased happiness) mean? That of eating and drinking? No. To make one brahmarup and give them the ultimate bliss.
Then, addressing one haribhakta who had a liking for doing sevā, Swamishri said, “Do not think all we have to do is sevā. We should gain gnān so that we would not be affected by adverse circumstances. A haribhakta came to Junagadh. He sat to eat with the others. The brahmachari forgot to serve him ghee in his khichadi, so he said, ‘Look! We serve them dudh-pāk and they do not even give us ghee.’ He came to the Swami and said, ‘Take this kanthi.’ Swami asked why. He said, ‘I was not served ghee in my khichadi.’ Swami said, ‘Did you become a satsangi for ghee?’ He took the kanthi back. Then Krishnacharan Swami talked to him and gave him the correct understanding. Therefore, we should gain gnān.”
“There are two things: When one becomes averse to worldly life, then they can develop affection for God. If one develops affection for worldly life, then he separates from God. One can lean only one way.”
Then, the words ‘vividh vinod karatā vihāri...’ were sung. So Swamishri asked, “What does vinod mean?” He himself answered, “To garland God, prepare food for him... that is called vinod (i.e. any activity related to God).”
“In ‘ād sarve tali’, what does ‘ād’ mean? That (inclinations, yearning) of the world and the mind - all these were renounced.”
