પ્રસંગ
(૧) આંખથી યોગીબાપાને મેં જોયા
ફરત હરત ભવપીરા, સોઈ સંત સુધીરા
૭૮ વર્ષની પ્રૌઢ વયે કેવળ જનકલ્યાણના પરમ શુભ આશયથી, દેહના ભાવને જરાપણ ગણકાર્યા સિવાય સ્વામીશ્રી રાત-દિવસ ગામોગામ વિચરણ કરતા.
ગોંડલમાં પુરુષોત્તમ માસની એકાદશીનો ઉત્સવ ઊજવી, બારશે પારણાં કરી, સવારે સોનગઢ પાસે જીંથરી - ટી.બી. હૉસ્પિટલમાં દુલા કાગની તબિયત જોવા પધાર્યા. ચંદુભાઈ અનડાની મોટરમાં સો માઈલની મુસાફરી કરી.
દુલા કાગે સ્વામીશ્રીનું સ્વાગત કરી, હાર પહેરાવ્યો. સ્વામીશ્રીના આશીર્વાદથી બાપુની તબિયત સુધારા ઉપર હતી. હકાભાઈ, પ્રમુખસ્વામી, મહંત સ્વામીએ થોડી વાતો કરી. સ્વામીશ્રીની આજ્ઞા થતાં ઈશ્વરચરણ સ્વામીએ ‘આંખથી યોગીબાપાને મેં જોયા...’ એ વિજયદાન ગઢવીનું કીર્તન સંભળાવ્યું. બાપુ ડોલી ઊઠ્યા ને બોલ્યા, “કીર્તનમાં બાપાનું વર્ણન હૂબહૂ કરેલું છે.” કાગ બાપુએ પણ પોતાની કવિવાણીમાં સ્વામીશ્રીનો યોગ કેવી રીતે થયો વગેરે વાતો વિગતે કરી. આ પ્રસંગે હૉસ્પિટલના ઘણા દર્દીઓ, ડૉક્ટરો તથા કર્મચારીઓ અહીં એકત્રિત થઈ ગયા હતા. તે સૌને બાપુની વાણીથી સ્વામીશ્રીની દિવ્ય શક્તિનો ખ્યાલ આવ્યો. સ્વામીશ્રીએ પણ બાપુને રાજી થઈ રૂડા આશીર્વાદ આપ્યા.

Prasang
(1) Ānkhthī Yogībāpāne me joyā
At the age of 78, with the pure intention of liberating countless people, and while totally disregarding his own burdens of the body, Swamishri Yogiji Maharaj traveled day and night from village to village.
Swamishri celebrated Ekadashi during the Purushottam Mas in Gondal, broke his fast the next day, and went to see Dulā Kāg in the hospital for tuberculosis patients located in Jinthari (near Songadh). He traveled 100 miles in Chandubhai’s car.
Dulā Kāg welcomed Swamishri and garlanded him. With Swamishri’s blessings, his health was improving. Hakabhai, Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and Mahant Swami Maharaj spoke a little. Swamishri asked Ishwarcharan Swami to sing ‘Ānkhthi Yogi Bapane me joyā...’, written by Vijaydan Gadhavi. Kāg Bāpu was moved by the kirtan and said, “Bapa’s description is captured in this kirtan totally.” Kāg Bāpu also spoke in his poetic way about how he met Swamishri.
During this meeting, many patients, doctors, and other staff members of the hospital gathered. They all understood the divinity and greatness of Yogiji Maharaj from Kāg Bāpu’s speech. Swamishri also blessed Kāg Bāpu before leaving.

પ્રસંગ
(૨) આંખથી યોગીબાપાને મેં જોયા
એનું પંડ છે પારસમણિ
બ્રહ્મસ્વરૂપ યોગીજી મહારાજ માટે લખાયેલી આ કીર્તન કડી પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજના જીવનમાં જીવંત હતી, તે આ પ્રસંગ દ્વારા જણાય આવે છે.
ભાવનગરમાં ચાલી રહેલા પારાયણ-પર્વ દરમ્યાન જ તા. ૭/૪/૧૯૮૭ના રોજ શ્રીજીમહારાજનો જન્મોત્સવ આવતાં કથાસત્રમાં અનેરી રંગત જામી ગઈ. આશરે આઠેક હજાર ભક્તોની હાજરીમાં ઊજવાયેલા આ સમૈયા બાદ બાકીના દિવસોમાં પણ સભાસ્થળ શ્રોતાઓથી ચિક્કાર જ રહેતું.
આ માનવમેદનીમાં તા. ૮/૪ના રોજ સામેલ થયેલા સાંગાણાના ક્ષત્રિયો ત્રણેક સપ્તાહ પૂર્વે સ્વામીશ્રી દ્વારા પરિવર્તન પામેલા. તેઓએ આજે કૃતજ્ઞતાના ભાવ સાથે સ્વામીશ્રીને કહ્યું, “પોલીસ અધિકારીઓ અમારા આ દાજીકાકાને ત્યાં રેડ (દરોડો) પાડતા, પણ એ પત્યા પછી દાજી બીજે જ દા’ડે બમણો દારૂ ગાળવા માંડતા. પરંતુ આપે ગામમાં બે કલાક જ આવીને જે રેડ પાડી એમાં બધાનાં હૃદય જીતી લીધાં. ગામમાં શાંતિ થઈ ગઈ.”
સ્વામીશ્રીના ઉપકારનો આટલો ઓડકાર ખાઈ એ દરબારોએ આગળ જણાવ્યું કે, “જ્યારે આ દાજીભાએ દારૂ નહીં પીવાનો નિયમ લીધો ત્યારે બીજા દારૂ ગાળનારા કહેતા કે, ‘આ ટેક બે દિ’ રહેશે.’ પણ તે વખતે દાજીભા કહેતા, ‘હવે તમારું બે દિ’ રહેશે.’ આપ અમારા ગામમાં આવ્યા તેથી અમારી તો જિંદગી સુધરી ગઈ. અમારી પળ પાકી ગઈ.”
શબ્દે-શબ્દે અહોભાવ છલકાવી રહેલા ગામવાસીઓના આ સ્વાનુભવમાં પોતાનો સૂર મિલાવતાં હેમંતસિંહ દાજીભાએ પણ સ્વામીશ્રીને કહ્યું, “આ લોઢું હતું. એમાં આપ પારસ પધાર્યા તે અમને કંચન કર્યાં.”
સ્વામીશ્રીના સંગનો આ પ્રતાપ સૌ વિસ્ફારિત નેત્રે જોઈ રહ્યા.

(2) Ānkhthī Yogībāpāne me joyā
His Body Is A Parasmani
This kirtan extolling Yogiji Maharaj was alive in Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
During the parayan in Bhavnagar, Shriji Maharaj’s birthday was approaching on April 7, 1987. After the celebration in presence of 8,000 devotees, the site of the parayan was still abuzz with devotees in the following days.
On April 8, the kshatriya devotees from Sangana were present in the crowd that lingered. These devotees had their life transformed about three decades earlier. They offered their gratitude to Swamishri, “In the past, the police would raid our Daji Kaka’s house. Afterward, Daji Kaka would drink double the alcohol. However, after you ‘raided’ our village in a mere 2 hours, you completely transformed our hearts. Peace spread throughout the village.”
After expressing gratitude for the benevolence, they continued, “After Dajibha vowed to quit drinking alcohol, the others would taunt him, ‘Your vow will last two days.’ But Dajibha would reply, ‘Your (drinking) will last two days.’ You came to our village and our whole life changed. We benefitted at the right time.”
With each word, the devotees’ hearts couldn’t contain their awe at Swamishri’s benevolence. Hemantsinha Dajibha chimed in, “This (I) was like an iron (incorrigible). You are a parasmani that graced our village and turned us into gold with your touch.”
Everyone openly saw Swamishri’s divine power.
