પ્રસંગ
(૧) દેતો દેતો ને દેતો જોગીડો દેતો દેતો ને દેતો
શીખવતો એ દાન દેવાનું
બીજે દિવસે સવારે મંદિરે જતાં મોટરમાં સ્વામીશ્રી ભટેસાને કહે, “આજે આફ્રિકાના હરિભક્તોને ભેગા કરવા છે. અને દેશના બધા હરિભક્તોને ભેટ આપવાની છે, શું? બધાને યાદગીરી રહે, સ્મૃતિ રહે. ફરી પાછા આ દેશમાં કોઈ આવવાના નથી. આ તો આપણે આવવાના હતા તે બધા આવ્યા. મારે તો પહેલેથી જ બધાને આપવાની ટેવ. કોઈ ગરીબ હોય, કોઈને કાંઈ હોય, પણ હું બધાંને મદદ કરું. બધાંને રાજી કરો.”
કાગ બાપુએ ખરે જ કહ્યું છે:
‘જોગીડો દેતો દેતો ને દેતો, એનો કાંઈ ન બદલો લેતો.’

He Taught How to Donate
Swamishri Yogiji Maharaj was traveling by car. He asked Bhatesa in the car, “Today, we want to gather all the devotees of Africa. And we have to give gifts the devotees from India. Why? So they all remember this trip. They are not going to return here. They came because we (I) came here. I have always had a habit of giving. Poor, troubled, etc. I help everyone. Please everyone.”
Kāg Bāpu wrote: ‘Jogido deto deto ne deto, eno kāi na badalo leto...’ (He gave and gave and gave. He never asked for anything in return.) This was portrayed in this incident.
