Translation
(1) Evā sant taṇī oḷkhāṇ kahu sahu sāmbhaḷo
Evā sant taṇī oḷkhāṇ, kahu sahu sāmbhaḷo;
Pachhī sopī tene man prāṇ, e vāḷe tem vaḷo... 1
(1) Everyone listen as I tell you the characteristics of the genuine Sant. After recognizing the Sant, offer your mind and your life and do according to his will.
Jenā antarmā avināsh, vās karī vasiyā;
Tene kām krodh pāmyā nāsh, lobh ne moh gayā... 2
(2) God resides in the heart of a Sant who has destroyed lust, anger, greed, and infatuation from within.
Evā shatrutaṇu ṭaḷyu sāl, lāl jyā āvī rahyā;
Teṇe sant thayā chhe nihāl, pūraṇkām thayā... 3
(3) The root of such enemies (vices) are not present in whom God resides. Such a Sant if fulfilled and he has accomplished all that needs to be accomplished.
Evā sant je hoy sansār, shodhīne sevījīe;
Kahe Nishkuḷānand nirdhār, te lābh to lījīe... 4
(4) Nishkulanand Swami says with assurance to find such a Sant in this world, serve him, and definitely take the opportunity of serving him.
