Translation

(1) Deh poshvā sāru je dambh kare chhe je kubuddhi

Nishkulanand Swami continues to describe a pseudo-sadhu.

Deh poshvā sāru je dambh, kare chhe je kubuddhi;

 Khoṭā sukh arthe ārambh, mūke nahi mūā sudhī... 1

(1) One with a malicious intellect fakes (his greatness) only to sustain his body. He is only after false happiness and will never give up his pursuit from the beginning till the end.

Teṇe janam pashune pāḍ, khoyo khoṭā kāraṇe;

 Moksha mārge didhā kamāḍ, kaḍī jaḍī bārṇe... 2

(2) His life is like that of an animal as he has wasted his birth for a false purpose. He has closed the doors of his liberation and locked it with a chain.

Fero na fāvyo thayo fajīt, jīt gaī jaḷmā;

 Melī mukta motapnī rīt, khyāti karī khaḷmā... 3

(3) He was not successful in his life and he lost his reputation and fame. He lost his victory. He abandoned the path of the great muktas; on the contrary, he gained fame among immoral people.

Āp ḍahāpaṇe ākho divas, dukhe bharyo do’ylo;

 Kahe Nishkuḷānand avas, khāṭyo maḷ khoylo... 4

(4) In his own (backward) cleverness, he passes his days suffering from depression. Nishkulanand Swami says, he has certainly lost all that he gained (i.e. the attainment of God).
