Translation
(1) 1-1055: Vāt hetnī haiye dhārjo re samjīne sujāṇ
Vāt hetnī haiye dhārjo re, samjīne sujāṇ;
Kām paḍe e vichārjo re; to thāshe kalyāṇ... 1
(1) Oh virtuous ones! Bear these words of affection in your heart with understanding. When the need arises, think about this. Then, one will be liberated.
Prabhujīnā pad pāmvā re, ā chhe sundar sār;
Vaḍā vighan ne vāmvā re, pāmvā beḍo pār... 2
(2) This is the essence to reach God. This is also to avoid great obstacles and to make it all the way to God.
Kahyu lagāḍīne kaḍvu re, līmthī ghaṇu lākh;
Em kahīne no’tu laḍvu re, sahu pūrshe sākh... 3
(3) I have said this, despite it being a hundred thousand times bitter than the juice of the neem (limdo) leaves. By saying this, I did not want to scold you, as everyone will testify (to my good intentions).
Koī vīndhe āvī kānne re, karīne kaḷ chhaḷ;
Paṇ samjo tenā tān ne re, pe’rāvshe kunḍaḷ... 4
(4) Someone pierces our ears by tricks or deception; but understand their motive, it is only so we can wear earrings.
Rūḍu āpṇī je rītnu re, shodhī kahyu sār;
Kahyu Nishkuḷānande hitnu re, sāru sukh denār... 5
(5) Our way is great, and I spoke the essence having found it (from the scriptures). Nishkulanand Swami says for your own benefit, this will give you happiness.
