Translation
(1) Kiyā jīva kiyā Jagdīsh jāṇo jūjvī e jāt chhe re
Kiyā jīva kiyā Jagdīsh, jāṇo jūjvī e jāt chhe re;
Mar āpīye so so shīsh, toye vaṇ maḷyānī vāt chhe re... 1
(1) Where is the jiva compared to Jagdish (God)? God is totally different (a different entity). Even if we sacrifice our head one hundred times, we cannot meet him.
Kiyā kīdī karī meḷāp, bheḷu thāvā bhere bhed chhe re;
Kiyā Pūrna Purushottam āp, kiyā jīva jene bahu ked chhe re... 2
(2) How can an ant ever hope to meet an elephant (kari)? It is impossible for them to meet. Similarly, there is a great difference between Purna Purushottam (who is extremely great and unreachable) and the jiva, which is imprisoned (by māyā).
Ati aṇmaḷyānu eh, maḷvu mayik amāyikne re;
Te to dayā karī dharī deh, āve uddhārvā anekne re... 3
(3) There is no way for a being bound to māyā to meet one who transcends māyā. That God assumes a human form out of great compassion to save countless.
Taiye thāy eno meḷāp, jyāre nartan dhare Nāthjī re;
Kahe Nishkuḷānand āp, tyāre māḷāy ene sāthjī re... 4
(4) Only when he assumes a human body that we are able to meet him. Nishkulanand Swami says, only then are we able to meet with him.
