Translation
(1) Enī āgaḷ jo āpaṇ koṇ gaṇtīmā āvīe re
Enī āgaḷ jo āpaṇ, koṇ gaṇtīmā āvīe re;
Shīd ḍo’ḷīne ḍahāpaṇ, samju shiyāṇā hasāvīe re... 1
(1) Who are we in comparison to his greatness? So why should we think of ourselves the wiser, making ourselves the laugh for the wise?
Jene rachyu ā jagat, jone jūjvī e jātyanu re;
Jotā mūnjhāī jāy mat, evu karyu bhāt bhātnu re... 2
(2) Look at the one who created this world that is diverse. Just seeing the diversity, one becomes perplexed, that is how diverse he created it.
Eṇe karyu evu ek, thāy nahi jarūr jāṇīe re;
Vaṇkarye e vivek, shīd abhiman āṇīe re... 3
(3) Certainly know that we cannot create one like he has created. So why should we become arrogant (of our capabilities)?
Melī ḍā’paṇ bhoḷāpaṇ, rahīe dāsnā dās thaīne re;
Kahe Nishkuḷānand āpaṇ, to besiye lābh laīne re... 4
(4) Forsake both one’s wisdom and one’s gullibility and behave as the servant of servants. Nishkulanand Swami says we can sit peacefully enjoying the benefit of attaining God.
