Translation
(1) Khoṭīlā sāmbhḷī āvī khoṭ dosh je bījāne deshe re
Khoṭī vāt sāmbhḷī āvī khoṭ, dosh je bījāne deshe re;
Pote peṭe kapaṭ rākhī koṭ, bā’r to sādhutā gre’she re... 1
(1) A fraud will always blame others for his mistakes when his mistakes are pointed out. He keeps ten million acts of deceit to himself whilst displaying characteristics of a sadhu superficially.
Chhaḷe kaḷe chhapāḍī chhidar, vānkmā nahi āve āpe re;
Em kartā jāṇshe koī nar, tene ḍarāvshe shāpe re... 2
(2) By using deceit and trickery, he hides his faults so that he cannot be subjected to blame. If anyone learns of his deceits, he will threaten him with a curse.
Āṇī ākhyān tenī upar, bolvā nahi diye re;
Jene nathī Mahārājno ḍar, te kaho kethī bīye re... 3
(3) He will not not allow you to speak of his scandals. Tell me, who he would fear if he does not even fear Maharaj?
Evā pāpī je pāpnā punj, dekhīne dūr rahīe re;
Kahe Nishkuḷānand te shu ja, kahī kahī keṭlu kahīe re... 4
(4) Stay away from such evil piles of sin. Nishkulanand Swami says, “I have told you this repeatedly, what more can I say?”
