(2) Nirvikalp uttam ati (Prārthanā - Stuti Aṣhṭak)

Āvyā Akshardhāmthī avanimā, aīshwarya mukto laī,

Shobhe Akshar sāth sundar chhabi, lāvaṇya tejomayi;

Kartā divya sadā rahe pragaṭ je, sākār sarvoparī,

Sahajānand krupālune nīt namu, sarvāvatārī hari. 1

(1) Bhagwan Swaminarayan came on this earth, along with all his powers and his aksharmuktas. He looks handsom beside Aksharbrahma and his form is attractive and luminous. He is the all-doer, eternally divine with a definite form, always remains manifest, and is supreme. I bow down to Sahajanand Swami, who is compassionate and the cause of all avatārs.

Je chhe Akshardhām divya Harinu, mukto-Hari jyā vase,

Māyāpār kare anant jīvane, je mokshanu dvār chhe;

Brahmānḍo aṇutulya rom distā, seve Parabrahmane,

E Mūlākshar mūrtine namu sadā, Guṇātītānandne. 2

(2) Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami is the Akshardham, the abode of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, where he himself and his aksharmuktas reside. That Aksharbrahma helps the infinite jivas cross māyā and is the gateway of liberation. In comparison to his greatness, the infinite brahmānds appear like atoms. I bow to Mul Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami, who serves Parabrahma.

Shrīmannirgun-mūrti sundar tanu, je gnānvārtā kathe,

Je sarvagna, samast sādhuguṇ chhe, māyā thakī mukta chhe;

Sarvaīshvaryathī pūrna, āshritjanonā dosh ṭāḷe sadā,

Evā Prāgjī Bhaktrāj gurune, preme namu sarvadā. 3

(3) He who has a handsome form and is nirgun, who always discourses on God, who is omniscient and complete with the qualities of a sadhu, who is free of māyā, who is complete with all the powers, and who always eradicates the flaws of his devotees; I bow to that Pragji Bhakta with affection.

Jenu nām raṭyā thakī, malin sankalpo samūḷā gayā,

Jene sharaṇ thayā pachhī bhavtaṇā, ferā virāmī gayā;

Jenu gān dasho dishe harijano, gāye ati harshthī,

Evā Yagnapurushdās tamne, pāye namu prīt thī. 4

(4) Just by uttering His holy name, all the polluted desires are uprooted. By taking refuge at his feet, the cycles of birth and death ends (and one is liberated). His praise is sung everywhere in this world by the devotees with immense joy and pleasure. I bow down to the feet of Yagnapurushdas (Shāstriji Mahārāj) with love!

Vāṇī amrutthī bharī madhusamī, sanjīvanī lokmā,

Drashṭimā bharī divytā nīrakhtā, sudivya bhakto badhā;

Haiye het bharyu mīṭhu jannīshu, ne hāsya mukhe vasyu,

Te Shrī Gnānjī Yogīrāj gurune, nitye namu bhāvshu. 5

(5) His words, filled with nectar, are like the divine Sanjīvani (life-giving herb) for the devotees. His sight is filled with immense divinity, and he looks upon the devotees as divine. His heart is overflowing with love like that of a mother for her children. He is always smiling. Such is guru Jnanjivandas, Yogiji Mahārāj, and I bow to him everyday with extreme love.

Shobho sādhu guṇe sadā saraḷ ne, jakte anāsakta chho,

Shāstrijī guru Yogījī ubhaynī, krupātaṇu pātra chho;

Dhārī dharmadhurā samudra sarkhā, gambhīr gnāne ja chho,

Nārāyaṇswarupdās guṇīne, snehe ja vandu aho. 6

(6) Your only adornments are your divine qualities. Simple as you are and detached from the world, you won the grace of the great gurus, Shāstriji Mahārāj and Yogiji Mahārāj. You behold the throne of religion with divine wisdom as deep as the ocean itself. Oh! Shri Narayanswarupdas (Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj), with deep affection I bow to you.

Shobhe saumya mukhārvind hasatu, neṇe amī varṣhatā,

Vāṇī chhe mahimābharī mṛudu vaḷī, haiye Hari dhāratā;

Yogīrāj Pramukhjī ṛudayathī, jenā guṇe rīzatā,

Vandu sant Mahant Swāmī gurune, kalyāṇkārī sadā. 7

(7) His pleasant, serene, smiling face; divine grace flowing from [his] eyes; His gentle speech full of [God’s] glory; bearing God in [his] heart. By his virtues Yogiji Mahārāj and Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj were delighted from their hearts; [I] bow in reverence to our saintly guru, Mahant Swāmi Mahārāj, who forever liberates all.
