(1) Mai to gunegār terā re

Mai to gunegār terā re, ho Swāmin merā...

I am guilty, O Maharaj.

Mai gunegār terā kirtār,

I am guilty...

De sharan charan kerā re;

Please give me your refuge.

Adham odhār patitjan pāvan,

You are the uplifter and purifier of the sinful and crooked.

Meṭat bhavferā re... ho Swāmin 1

You destroy the cycle of births and deaths.

Yehī birad Ghānshyām sunī terā,

Maharaj, hearing your promise (to liberate everyone),

Kīno charan ḍerā re;

I sacrificed myself at your feet.

Premānand kahe Prabhu bhavsāgar te,

Premanand Swami says, “Maharaj,

Pār karo ab berā re... ho Swāmin 2

... save me from the ocean of reincarnation this time (in this birth).”
