Translation
(1) Manuṣhyalīlā re (pad - 3)
Manushyalīlā re, kartā mangaḷkārī;
Bhaktasabhāmā re, beṭhā bhavbhayhārī. 1
Mahārāj, who makes things auspicious, would perform human-like behaviour. At times, He would sit in an assembly of devotees… 1
Jene jotā re, jāye jag āsakti;
Gnān vairāgya re, dharma sahit je bhakti. 2
and worldly desires would disappear upon seeing him. Bhakti combined with gnān, vairāgya, and dharma… 2
Te sambandhī re, vārtā kartā bhārī;
Hari samjāve re, nij janne sukhkārī. 3
…is a topic which Mahārāj would explain to His devotees by means of a profound discourse. 3
Yoga ne Sānkhya re, Pancharātra Vedānt;
E shāstrano re, rahasya kahe karī khānt. 4
He would enthusiastically explain the essence of the scriptures of Yog, Sānkhya, Panchrātra, and Vedānt. 4
Jyāre harijan re, desh deshnā āve;
Utsav upar re, pūjā bahuvidh lāve. 5
When devotees from various places would arrive for a festival, they would bring various types of offerings. 5
Jāṇī potānā re, sevakjan Avināshī;
Temnī pūjā re, grahaṇ kare sukhrāshī. 6
Knowing the devotees as His own, Mahārāj would accept their offerings. 6
Bhakta potānā re, tene Shyām sujāṇ;
Dhyān karāvī re, kheche nāḍī prāṇ. 7
Mahārāj, who is wise, would make His own devotees meditate, thus controlling their life pulse (induce samādhi). 7
Dhyānmāthī re, uṭhāḍe nij janne;
Dehmā lāve re, prāṇ indriya manne. 8
From this samadhī, He would awaken His devotees and bring back their breath, senses, and minds into their bodies. 8
Sant sabhāmā re, beṭhā hoy avināsh;
Koī harijanne re, teḍvo hoy pās. 9
When Mahārāj would want to summon some devotee near, while seated in an assembly of sādhus. 9
Pahelī āngḷī re, netrataṇī karī sān;
Premānand kahe re, sād kare Bhagwān. 10
He would use His index finger, gesture with His eyes, or, Premānand says, call out for him. 10
