Translation
(1) Sāmbhaḷ sajnī re (pad - 5)
Sāmbhaḷ sajnī re, divya swarūp Murārī;
Kare charitra re, manushya vigrah dhārī. 1
Listen dear friend, the divine form of Mahārāj, having assumed a human body, performs various actions. 1
Thayā manohar re, Mohan manushya jevā;
Rūp anupam re, nij janne sukh devā. 2
Mahārāj, who is captivating, became human-like (with) indescribable majesty to give happiness to His devotees. 2
Kyārek ḍholiye re, bese Shrī Ghanshyām;
Kyārek bese re, chākḷe pūraṇkām. 3
Sometimes Mahārāj would sit on a dholiyo, and sometimes he would sit on a chākalo. 3
Kyārek godaḍu re, ochhāḍe sahit;
Pātharyu hoye re, te par bese prīte. 4
Sometimes He would affectionately sit on a covered comforter which was spread (on the floor). 4
Kyārek ḍholiyā re, upar takiyo bhāḷī;
Te par bese re, Shyām palāṭhī vāḷī. 5
Sometimes, upon seeing a cylindrical pillow on top of a dholiyo, He would sit on the pillow cross-legged. 5
Ghaṇuk bese re, takiye oṭhīngaṇ daīne;
Kyārek goṭhaṇ re, bāndhe khes laīne. 6
He would often sit leaning on a cylindrical pillow with one elbow, or sometimes he would sit with His knees tied together with a sash. 6
Kyārek rājī re, thāy atishe ālī;
Sant harijanne re, bheṭe bāthmā ghālī. 7
O friend, sometimes, having become extremely pleased, He would pull the sādhus and devotees into His arms and embrace them. 7
Kyārek māthe re, laī mele be hāth;
Chhātī māhe re, charaṇkamaḷ de Nāth. 8
Sometimes He would place His hands on their heads or give footprints of His lotus feet on their chests . 8
Kyārek āpe re, hār torā Girdhārī;
Kyārek āpe re, angnā vastra utārī. 9
Sometimes, He would give away tassels of flowers (decorating His body) or He would take off pieces of cloth decorating His body and give them away. 9
Kyārek āpe re, prasādīnā thāḷ;
Premānand kahe re, bhaktataṇā pratipāḷ. 10
or sometimes, Premānand says, that saviour of the devotees would give away His sanctified thāl. 10
