Translation
(1) Āvo mārā Mohan mīṭhaḍā lāl
Āvo mārā Mohan mīṭhḍā lāl, ke jou tārī mūrti re lol;
Come, my charming Mahārāj, (so that) I may look at Your murti.
Jatan karī rākhu rasiyā rāj, visāru nahi urthī re lol... 1
I keep Mahārāj carefully (in my heart), and shall not forget Him from within. 1
Man māru mohyu Mohanlāl, pāghalḍīnī bhātmā re lol;
O Mahārāj, my mind has been enticed by the variety of Your pāghs.
Āvo orā chhogalā khosu chhel, khāntilā jou khāntmā re lol... 2
Mahārāj, come near so that I may insert decorative feathers into Your pāgh and see You enthusiastically. 2
Vahālā tāru jhaḷke sundar bhāl, tilak rūḍā karyā re lol;
Mahārāj, Your beautiful forehead, (with its) exquisite tilak shines.
Vahālā tārā vām karaṇmā til, tene manḍā haryā re lol... 3
Mahārāj, the beauty mark on Your left hand has won over my mind. 3
Vahālā tārī bhrakuṭine bāṇe Shyām, kāḷaj mārā koriyā re lol;
Mahārāj, the curve of Your eyebrow has pierced my heart.
Neṇe tāre Premsakhīnā Nāth, ke chitt mārā choriyā re lol... 4
The eyes of Premsakhi’s master have captivated my mind. 4
