(1) Vahālā tārī bhujā jugal Jagadīsh
Vahālā tārī bhujā jugal Jagdīsh, joīne jāu vārṇe re lol;
Mahārāj, (just) seeing both of Your arms dispells my miseries.
Karnā laṭkā kartā lāl, āvone māre bārṇe re lol... 1
Mahārāj, You would perform many gestures with Your hands; please come to my doorstep. 1
Vahālā tārī āngaḷiyunī rekhā, nakhmaṇi joīne re lol;
Having seen the lines on Your fingers and Your gem-like nails…
Vahālā mārā chittmā rākhu chorī, kahu nahi koīne re lol... 2
…I will steal and keep (that vision) in my mind, not telling anyone (about it). 2
Vahālā tārā urmā anupam chhāp, jovāne jīva ākḷo re lol;
My soul is very eager to see the indescribable imprint on Your chest.
Vahālā mārā haiḍe harakh na māy, jāṇu je hamṇā maḷo re lol... 3
The happiness I feel in my heart is overflowing, as if You were to embrace me at this very moment. 3
Vahālā tāru udar ati rasrūp, shītaḷ sadā Nāthjī re lol;
You have an amazing stomach which always remains cool.
Āvo orā Premsakhīnā prāṇ, maḷu bharī bāthjī re lol... 4
Oh Mahārāj, Premsakhi’s (very) life, please come near so that I may embrace You. 4
