(1) Dharmakuvar Harikrishṇaji tame bhaktapati Bhagwān

Dharmakuvar Harikrishṇaji,

O Harikrishna Maharaj, son of Dharmadev...

Tame bhaktapati Bhagwān, e var māgu chhu;

...you are the Lord of your devotees. I ask this boon of you.

 Dayānidhi tame dāsne, nit āpo chho e dān... e 1

You are the ocean of compassion. You always give this boon to your devotees.

Nirvikalp uttam ati, evo nische thāy tamāro;

I ask that I may develop the uttam nirvikalp nischay (highest level of faith as mentioned in Loya 12).

 Albelā tam āgḷe, hu araj karū e sārū... e 2

Maharaj, I make this request to you.

Māhātmya gnān sahit Hari, evī ekāntikī bhakti;

Maharaj, I ask that I may develop bhakti that is coupled with the knowledge of your greatness.

 Prīt rahe tav charaṇmā, bīje rahe sadā virakti... e 3

And that I have love for your two holy feet only and for nothing else.

Humā tamāru bhaktapaṇu Hari, emā koī prakār;

I also ask that, in being your devotee, I...

 Dosh na rahe koī jātno, e āpo Dharmakumār... e 4

... have no faults of any kind remain. Give me this, O son of Dharmadev.

Tamārā koī bhaktano māre, droh kyāre nav thāy;

I ask that I may never malign any of your devotees in any way.

 Sang ekāntik bhaktano, mane nit āpo Munirāy... e 5

And give me the constant company of your ekāntik bhaktas.

Dās tamārā dāsno, mane rākho Nāth hajūr;

Maharaj, keep me as the servant of your servants.

 Premānandni vinanti, sāmbhaljo Shyām jarur... e 6
