Translation
(1) Koḍe koḍe Ekādashī kījīe re
Koḍe koḍe Ekādashī kījīe re,
Evu vrat jāvā nav dījīe re...
Observe the Ekadashi with enthusiasm. Never let this auspicious vrat pass.
E vrat kare te dhanya mānvī re,
Te to nāhyo koṭik vār jāhnavī re... koḍe 1
(1) Anyone who adheres to this vrat is fortunate. This is equivalent to bathing in the Jāhnvi (Ganga) river millions of times.
Jeṇe vachan pramāṇe vrat ādaryu re,
Teṇe kāraj potānu sarve karyu re... koḍe 2
(2) One who observes Ekadashi as according to God’s command has accomplished all of his tasks (related to liberation).
Eno mahimā munivar gāy chhe re,
Avināshī maḷyāno upāy chhe re... koḍe 3
(3) The munis sing the glory of Ekadashi. It is a means to attain God.
Brahmānand kahe emā Hari rahyā vasī re,
Kīdhī Uddhav pramāṇe Ekādashī re... koḍe 4
(4) Brahmanand Swami says God resides in one who observes the Ekadashi as according to the Uddhav tradition.
