Translation
(1) Bhajī le Bhagwān, sāchā santne maḷī
In this last kirtan of the chosar, Devanand Swami advises the correct way to worship God - by finding a genuine Sant. In his company, all sins are destroyed.
Bhajī le Bhagwān, sāchā santne maḷī...
Find a genuine Sant and worship God.
Vachanmā vishvās rākhī, bhajanmā bhaḷī;
Pūrav kerā pāp tārā to jāshe baḷī... bhajī 1
(1) Trust his words and join the worship of God; then the sins of your past births will be destroyed.
Oḷkhī le Avināshī raheje, gnānmā gaḷī;
Rījhshe rangrel vā’lo aḍhaḷak ḍhaḷī... bhajī 2
(2) Recognize God and be engrossed in true knowledge. God will be pleased with you bountifully.
Kāḷ to vikrāḷ verī, vīnkhshe vaḷī;
Kām ne kuṭumb tune nākhshe daḷī... bhajī 3
(3) Time is a terrifying enemy; it will rampage everything (i.e. passage of time destroys everything; nothing remains permanent). Your duties and your family will grind you (like grains are ground into flour).
Satya tyā sukh dharma rahe, kūḍ tahā kaḷī;
Devānand kahe duniyā kerī akkal āndhaḷī... bhajī 4
(4) Where there is truth (Satya-yug), there resides dharma and happiness; while where there is immorality, there resides Kali-yug (darkness). Devanand Swami says the whole world is blind if they do not understand this.
