Translation
(1) Bhaj Mānas Gīt
Bhaja mānasa tvam Shrīharim, Harikrishṇam purāṇam…
Oh mind! You should worship the eternal Bhagwan Shrihari Harikrishna Maharaj.
Māyā-pare nilaye nivasantam, Munijan-maṇḍal-maṇḍitam;
[That Bhagwan] lives in the abode beyond māyā. He is resplendently surrounded by a group of munis.
Navghan-mechakam angam dadhānam, Vāmaripumad-mārakam... Harikrishṇam
He has accepted a body which is dark like a new cloud. He has defeated the enemy, lust (i.e. Kamdev).
Bhāsvaddyuti-vasanair vilasantam, Bahuvidha-bhūshaṇa-bhushitam;
He is resplendent in shiny clothes. He wears many types of ornaments.
Bhuvi shakulādyākrutim vidadhānam, Svīyajanānand-dāyakam... Harikrishṇam
He incarnated on this earth as Matsya and other avatārs. He gives bliss to his devotees.
Premavatī-vrushlālam vishokam, Durgapattan-samvāsinam;
He is the beloved of Premvati’s family. He is the remover of misery. He resides in Gadhada.
Unmatta-Gangā-jale viharantam, Gnānsudhā-janashankaram... Harikrishṇam
He plays (bathes) in the Ghela River. He gives his devotees peace through the nectar of knowledge.
Brahmapriyam brahmavrata-dharavesham, Brahmavratadhar-nāyakam;
He loves [Akshar]brahman. He follows nishkām dharma. He is the leader of all brahmachāris.
Hansruchira-gamanam kanjanetram, Dharmavanshāvana-kārakam;
He is the beloved of the paramhansas. His eyes are like those of a deer. He protects the Dharmakul (he protects those that follow dharma).
Nishkāmvarṇi-rachitam gīt-gītam, Nishkāmanara-vraja-sharmadam... Harikrishṇam
He is the song sung by Nishkam Muni. He bestows peace to those people who are free of desires.
