Translation

(1) 1-406: Prem bhakti jene ghaṭ āve

Sadguru Muktanand Swami

Prem bhakti jene ghaṭ āve,

 tehne rang Hari rāche re;

Vraj vanitā kar tāḷi bajāve,

 Naṭvar theī theī nāche re... prem 1

(1) God is pleased with one who has loving devotion in his heart. As the Gopis (of Vraj) clap with their hands, God dances with the rhythm (i.e. he would do anything for them).

Motā munivar deh damīne,

 ātma-darshan īchchhe re;

Pind brahmānḍthī prīt taje paṇ,

 premno rāh na prīchhe re... prem 2

(2) Great rishis in the past physically tolerated adversities to be able to see their ātmā. They renounced affection for their body and everything else in the world, yet they never recognized the path of love.

Premno mārag Shukjī prīchhe,

 kā prīchhe Vrajnārī re;

Muni Nārad rahe (magna) premvash,

 kā Vrushabhān kumārī re... prem 3

(3) Either Shukji or the Gopis (of Vraj) recognized the path of love. Muni Nārad or Rādhā (daughter of Vrushabhān) remain engrossed in love for God.

Premnī āgaḷ sādhan sarve,

 ravī āgaḷ jem tārā re;

Muktānand kahe premno mārag,

 prīchhe te Prabhujīne pyārā re... prem 4

(4) Comparing all of the spiritual endeavors to love is like comparing the stars with the sun (i.e. Love for God is much greater than any spiritual endeavor). Muktanand Swami says God loves those who recognize the path of love for him.
