Translation
(1) Prem rasāyan je jan pāme
Prem rasāyan je jan pāme,
tehno te mārag nyāro re;
Pind brahmānḍmā prīt na rākhe,
ur dhāre piyu pyāro re... prem 1
(1) The path of one who acquires the ‘elixir’ of love is unique. He does not have affection for his body or anything else in this world. He only beholds God in his heart.
Loklāj marjād na māne,
rahe Harine sang rāchī re;
Tribhuvanmā te dhanya dhanya abaḷā,
tehnī te bhakti sāchī re... prem 2
(2) He is not overly concerned about the social decorum; he remains engrossed in God. Those who are meek are fortunate of all people in the three realms. Those with these qualities possess true bhakti.
Abaḷāne ādhīn Shyāmaḷiyo,
ajīt e abaḷā pākhe re;
Premījan e marmne prīchhī,
Hari sang mān na rākhe re... prem 3
(3) God is bound to the meek devotees. Those who are undefeatable know this. One who has love for God understand this secret. They never keep ego in front of God.
Kām krodh mad moh taṇā daḷ,
premī pās na āve re;
Muktānand pragaṭ Prabhu ur dharī,
laṭkeshu lāḍ laḍāve re... prem 4
(4) Toward the ones with love for God, the army of lust, anger, delusion, infatuation never comes. Muktanand Swami beholds the manifest form of God in his heart and he is entertained only by God.
