Translation

(1) Shrīji ane sahu santo re Maḷī karjo mārī sahāy

Kavi Maavdaan

Shrīji ane sahu santo re, Maḷī karjo mārī sahāy;

Shriji Maharaj and the sadhus, please come to my aide together.

Hu chhu tamāre sharaṇe re, Purushottam lāgu pāy...

I am at your refuge and bow to your feet.

Hu anant bhavmā bhaṭkyo, Āvīne āre aṭakyo;

I have wandered through the vast ocean (taken many births in vain). Finally, I have reached the shore (attained God).

Khari rīte rākhi khaṭko, Chhogāḷā karjo chhuṭko re... Pu 1

Maharaj, please be vigilant and save me.

Nathī gayo hu Gangā Kāshī, Teṇe antar nathī udāsī;

I have not gone to Ganga or Kashi (places of pilgrimage); nor am I sad regarding that.

Nakkī Akshardhāmnivāsī, Me oḷkhiyā Avināshī re... Pu 2

I am certainly a resident of Akshardham, as I have recognized Maharaj (the manifest God).

Mane maḷyā Sahajānand Swāmī, Bhāngī janmo-janamnī khāmī;

I have met Sahajanand Swami, and now the faults of many lives have been broken.

Nārāyaṇ chho bahunāmī, Ugāro antaryāmī re... Pu 3

You are Narayan, who goes by many names. Please save me, O omniscient Maharaj.

Prabhu pūraṇ prajāḷī pāpo, Sthir Akshardhāme sthāpo;

Maharaj, please completely destroy my sins and place me in Akshardham.

Kahe ’Māvdān’ dukh kāpo, Amne akshay sukh āpo re... Pu 4

Mavdan says destroy my sins and give us unending happiness.
