Translation
(1) Anubhavīne antare rahe Rām vāse re
In this series of four kirtans by Muktanand Swami, he speak of an anubhavi. Anubhavi is a gnāni bhakta of the four types of devotees mentioned by Krishna Bhagwan in the Gita. Bhagwan Swaminarayan has explained in Vachanamrut Gadhada I-56 that a gnāni believes himself to be brahmarup and worships Purushottam. Muktanand Swami speak of such a devotee in these kirtans.
Anubhavīne antare rahe Rām vāse re,
Je bole je sāmbhaḷe drashṭi prakāshe re... anu 1
(1) God resides in the heart of an anubhavi. Whatever the anubhavi speaks, listens to, or sees is inspired by God. (Hence, he will not speak, listen to, or see anything that goes against the wishes of God.)
Jyā jue tyā Rāmjī bīju na bhāse re,
Bhāt dekhī bhule nahi anubhav ujāse re... anu 2
(2) Whatever he sees, he sees God residing there, nothing else. (The second line has been explained by Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj: he does not mistake false sadhus (bhāt) as genuine by recognizing their characteristics. He thoroughly knows the characteristics of the true Satpurush. This nirupan is found here.)
Kesarī kerā gandhthī karī koṭi trāse re,
Tem ātmānā udyotthī agnān nāse re... anu 3
(3) Millions of elephants (kari) would be terrified smelling the scent of a lion (kesari). Similarly, ignorance flees (from the heart of an anubhavi) from the luster of the ātmā (i.e. because he has the knowledge that he is the ātmā).
Hu taḷye Hari dhukḍā te ṭaḷāy dāse re,
Muktānand mahāsantne Prabhu pragaṭ pāse re... anu 4
(4) When one dissolves the consciousness of the self (hu), then God will become close to him (dhukḍā). The consciousness of the self can be eradicated by becoming a servant of God. Muktanand Swami says that God is manifest in a true Satpurush.
