Translation
(1) Jogī jīvo re evā jagatmā
Jogī jīvo re evā jagatmā, sagā sahunā soyjī;
In the world, the ‘jogi’ (true sadhu) is related to everyone.
Shatru shodhatā sansārmā, jene na jaḍe koyjī... Jogī 1
He never finds anyone in this world to be his enemy.
Sthāvar jangam sthūḷ sūkṣhma, charāchar je jantjī;
The mobile and immobile things large and small, mobile and immobile lifeforms...
Man karma vachane dūve nahī, dale dayā atyantjī... Jogī 2
The jogi does not hurt them through his mind, actions, or words. He has great pity in his heart.
Nirver evāne nīrakhī, dayā duṣhṭane no’yjī;
Seeing such a one without any animosity toward anyone, the wicked do not pity them.
Dūjā to sarve dayā kare, jyāre evāne joyjī... Jogī 3
While others show pity on them when seeing them.
Dehadarshī dukh bhogave, na kare sukhno upāyjī;
One who identified himself as the body experiences misery and they do not do anything for true happiness.
Ātmadarshī ānandmā, rahe sukhmā sadāyjī... Jogī 4
Whereas one who identified himself as the ātmā always experiences happiness.
Bhūle potānu bhāse nahī, traṇe kāḷmā tanjī;
Even by mistake - in the past, present and future - he never perceives himself as the body.
Niṣhkuḷānand em samajīne, jogī na kare jatanjī... Jogī 5
Nishkulanand Swami says a jogi never cares for his body because of his understanding.
