Translation
(1) Shir par kesh shobhe ati sārā
Shir par kesh shobhe ati sārā,
Mohanvar mārī ānkhonā tārā;
Shriji Maharaj’s hair on his head looks beautiful. Maharaj is the star of my eyes.
Bhṛukuṭi kuṭil shobhī rahī sārī,
Joī joī mohī sarve vrajnārī. 1
His crooked eyebrows are beautiful. The gopis are infatuated by looking at them.
Hār haiyāmā paheryā Vanmāḷī,
Bhramar āve tīyā sugandh bhāḷī;
Maharaj is wearing garlands around his neck. The honeybees are attracted by the fragrance of the flowers.
Be stan Shyām shobhe ati sārā,
Jāṇe ūgyā ākāshmā tārā. 2
His chest is beautiful. It is as if the stars have risen in the sky.
Nābhi nautam ūnḍī chhe bhārī,
Brahmā bese tyā āsan vāḷī;
His beautiful navel is deep. Brahmā sits there on an āsan.
Jānu jugal shobhe ati sārā,
Jerām kahe dekhe dās tamārā. 3
His two arms are beautiful. Jeram says your servants look at them.
