Translation

(1) Nārad mere santse adhik na koī

Sadguru Muktanand Swami

In these four verses, God himself is speaking about the glory of the Sant and his oneness with the Sant who possesses these saintly virtues.

Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami mentions these four verses in Swamini Vat 6/5 as miraculous, containing the essence of the four Vedas, the six systems of philosophy and eighteen Purans.

Nārad mere santse adhik na koī…

Narad, there is no one superior to my Sant.

 Mam ur sant aru mai santan ur, vās karu sthīr hoī..Nārad 1

The Sant resides in my heart and I reside in his heart. I reside in him eternally.

Kamlā mero karat upāsan, mān chapaltā dhoī;

Lakshmi offers upāsanā to me, having renounced her ego and fidgetiness.

 Yadyapi vās diyo mai ur par, santan sam nahi soī..Nārad 2

Although I have given Lakshmi a place on my chest (represented by the Shrivatsa mark on Vishnu’s chest), there is truly no one like the Sant (for he resides within my heart).

Bhuko bhār haru santan hit, karu chhāyā kar doī;

I bear the weight of the Earth for the sake of the Sant. I provide a shade for him with my two hands (to protect him).

 Jo mere santku rati ek dūve, tehī jaḍ ḍārū mai khoī..Nārad 3

If anyone slightly hurts my Sant, I will destroy them from the root.

Jin nartan dharī sant na sevyā, tin nij jannī vigoī;

Whoever has not served the Sant after attaining the human birth has humiliated their mother (their birth was a waste).

 Muktānand kahat yū Mohan, priya moy jan nīrmoī..Nārad 4

Muktanand Swami says, “God says: The un-infatuated Sant is beloved to me.”
