Translation
(1) Nārad aise sāche santkī rīti
Nārad aise sāche santkī rīti, jehī sunī sādhu parat pichhānat,
Narad, listening to the ways of true Sant, one can identify him...
jinko mam pad prīti... Nārad 1
Who has love toward my holy feet.
Khaṭ vikār jīt anagh ānandī, mere vachanme vāsā;
He has defeated the six sensations† and remains free of sin and blissful. He abides by my commands.
Brahmādik kshar jānī jagatkī, chhoḍat sab vidh āshā... Nārad 2
He understands that Brahmā and others are perishable (i.e. their status is not permanent) and he has no worldly expectations.
Akshar pad jānat Avināshī, tehī madhya mukta apārā;
He understands Akshardham is eternal, where infinite muktas reside.
Panchvishay tyāgī sab samrath, karat kālkā chārā... Nārad 3
He is powerful and has renounced all sensual pleasures; he ‘teases’ time (i.e. is beyond time).
Kshar Akshar par moku jānat, sab aksharko Swāmī;
He understands me as transcending kshar (all perishable entities) and Akshar, and he understands me to be the master of all the aksharmuktas.
Apno rūp shuddh Brahma mānat, mero hī jan nishkāmī... Nārad 4
He believes his form to be pure Brahman. He is free of lust.
Aise mere jan ekāntik, tehī sam aur na koī;
Such is my Ekantik Sant. No one is equal to him.
Muktānand kahat yū Mohan, mero hī sarvasva soī... Nārad 5
Muktanand Swami says, “God says: He is my whole and soul.”
†The six physical and emotional sensations are: (1) thirst, (2) hunger, (3) grief, (4) infatuation, (5) old age and (6) death. One must conquer these six physical and emotional sensations.
