Translation
(1) Guru Parameshwar re je seve sāche mane
Guru Parameshwar re, je seve sāche mane;
The guru is the form of Bhagwan for one who serves the guru with a pure mind.
Oḷkhīne arpe re, man karma vachne tan dhanne... 1
Having recognized a genuine guru, a devotee offers his thoughts, deeds, words, body, and wealth to him.
Kapaṭ na rākhe re, shuddh bhāve mahimā jāṇe;
He does not act deceitfully and purely understands the greatness of Bhagwan.
Hari vinā bījī re, ke manmā ichchhā nav āṇe... 2
He has no thought in his mind other than to please Bhagwan.
Vachan pramāṇe re, varte te harijan kā’ve;
A true devotee is one who lives according to Bhagwan’s commands.
Bhavsāgarmā re, te farvā pāchho nav āve... 3
He does not enter the cycle of births and deaths again.
Mannā manorath re, sarve tenā Shrīhari pūre;
Bhagwan fulfills all of his mind’s wishes.
Premānand kahe re, tene Hari hajūr rahe... 4
Premanand Swami says, “Bhagwan himself remains present to attend to him.”
