Translation
(1) Karuṇāmay mūrti Mohan re jantaṇā man haro chho
Karuṇāmay mūrti Mohan re, jantaṇā man haro chho;
O Bhagwan, you are compassionate. You captivate peoples’ minds.
Karuṇānī draṣhṭi karīne re, kāraj amārā karo chho... 1
With a compassionate glance, you fulfill our tasks.
Karuṇāmay mukhnī vāṇī re, shītaḷ sarakhu bolo chho;
Your speech is compassionate. You speak soothing words.
Nathī rehatu kahevā keḍe re, bolīne bandha kholo chho... 2
There is nothing left to be said. Your words liberate us.
Karuṇāmay mukhnī kānti re, shobhe chhe sundar sārī;
The splendor of your compassionate face is beautiful.
Mohanjī tārā mukh par re, vālamjī jāu vārī... 3
O Bhagwan. I sacrifice myself to you.
Karuṇāmay hās vilās re, līdhu man karne laṭke;
Your laugh, actions, and hand gestures have captured my mind.
Tārī chākhaḍiyu chamkāḷī re, chālo chho chaṭke laṭke... 4
Your chākhadis are dazzling when you walk.
Karuṇāmay ang ābhūṣhaṇ re, karuṇāmay vastra vā’lā;
Your clothes and jewels are compassionate.
Karuṇānu rūp dharyu chhe re, nīrakhī joyā Nandlālā... 5
You have assumed a form of compassion. I have observed you.
Karuṇāmay kariyā sarve re, yatkinchit kāraj kāī;
You instilled others with compassion.
Nathī tajvā jevu temā re, bhajvā sarkhu sukhdāī... 6
There is nothing to abandon. It is worth worshipping.
Karuṇāmay kṛupā karīne re, nar tan rūpe Nāth thayā;
Showing great compassion, you became like a human.
Dīnbandhu dīndayāḷ re, am uparya kāī karī dayā... 7
Your are a friend of the meek. You have shown pity upon us.
Mohanjī me’r karīne re, ānand devā āvyā chho;
You have kindly come to give us happiness.
Niṣhkuḷānandnā Swāmī re, vālā amane bhāvyā chho... 8
Nishkulanand Swami says you are loved by us.
