(1) Me to sukhnā sindhu joī re buddhi mārī tyā būḍī
Me to sukhnā sindhu joī re, buddhi mārī tyā būḍī;
I saw [Maharaj] as the ocean of bliss, and my intellect drowned in that bliss.
Māre arasparas eh sāthe re, bījī samjaṇ nahi ūnḍī . 1
I do not have any deep knowledge other than my mutual [love] with him.
Hu to kumbhak rechak pūrak re, jāṇu nahi kāī sādhīne;
I do not understand the methods of prānāyām (kumbhak, rechak, purak) as I have not mastered them.
Ame prāṇ apānne rundhī re, samaju nahi samādhine.° 2
I do not understand the way of samādhi by controlling my prān and apān (types of prān).
Mune ānkhya vinchine antar re, jotā nathī āvaḍtu;
I do not know the means of closing my eyes and searching deep within.
Māre pargaṭ mūkī bīju re, chitte kāī nathī chaḍtu. 3
I do not know anything other than the manifest form [Maharaj].
Hu to līlā-charitra laṭkā re, vāramvār vichāru chhu;
I [only] think about the divine actions and gestures of Maharaj over and over again.
Mārā antarmā Albelo re, Shāmaḷiyo sambhāru chhu. 4
I remember Maharaj in my heart.
Māre e sandhyā ne sevā re, rāt divas rudiye rākhu;
(Remembering Maharaj in my heart) is my daily ritual and sevā. I do it day and night in my heart.
Hu to jīvannu mukh joī re, antarmāye abhilākhu. 5
I desire in my heart to see Maharaj's face.
Māre re’ chhe sukh ne shānti re, antarmā eṇī rītye;
My heart remains joyful and peaceful on its own.
Gun gāu chhu Govindnā re, prem karī pūraṇ prītye. 6
I sing Bhagwan’s praises with complete love.
Māre ī chhe vāt antarnī re, bā’rye kaīk bolīne;
I have only revealed a part of what is in my heart (i.e. there is so much more I could say).
Nathī karvu bīju kāī re, bhūdharjīne bhūlīne. 7
I do not want to do anything while forgetting Maharaj!
Sakhī e chhe Nāth amāro re, ame to chhaiye ene;
Friend, Maharaj is our master and we are his.
Niṣhkuḷānandnā Swāmīne re, bhūlīne bhajīe kene. 8
Nishkulanand Swami says, “Other than him, who else could we worship!?”
