Translation
(1) Rang bharelā Lāljī jaḷmā jhīle baḷvīr
Rang bharelā Lāljī, jaḷmā jhīle baḷvīr;
Maharaj played with his companions while bathing in the river.
Rātā thaīne vhevā lāgīyā, Sābarmatinā nīr... 1
The water of Sabarmati River became red.
Pote Gangājī āviyā, mūrtimān sākshāt;
Gangaji herself came in her original form of a woman.
Hāth joḍīne Hari āgḷe, kahe pūravnī vāt... 2
She folder her hands before Maharaj and spoke about her past.
Tamārā charaṇothī Shyāmḷā, nokhī paḍī bahukāḷ;
She said she had been away from the touch of his holy feet for a very long time...
Sant sahit krupā karī, āj maḷyā Gopāḷ... 3
You have grace me by coming here with your sadhus.
Gangāne charaṇe nīvās daī, ashve thayā asvār;
Maharaj gave Ganga refuge in his holy feet and mounted his horse.
Mandirmā santne jamāḍiyā, ghebar motaiyā apār... 4
