Translation
(1) Hari bin koī na terā samaj nar
Hari bin koī na terā samaj nar,
Understand that no one other than God belongs to you.
Hari bin koī na terā;
No one other than God belongs to you.
Chār dinkī chāndnī bīte,
After four days and four nights (of moonlight) pass...
āge bo’t andherā...
...there is only darkness ahead.
This is a reference to a marriage which lasts four days and nights. Once the marriage days are behind, misery of worldly life follows in the coming days.
Manushya deh dayā karī dīnī,
The human body was kindly given to you...
tāte chet saverā;
So be aware of this in advance.
Abko avsar bhul jāyegā,
Otherwise, you’ll lose this opportunity...
sahegā dukh ghanerā... samaj 1
and will suffer from great misery.
Bharatkhanḍ madhya janam diyo hai,
You have been given a birth in the Bharatkhand...
jahā Prabhu pragaṭ baserā;
where the manifest God - Maharaj - resides.
Swāminārāyaṇ nām raṭan karī,
Chant the name of Swaminarayan...
pār karo bhav ferā... samaj 2
and cross the ocean of misery.
Kām krodh mad lobh mān tajī,
Give up lust, anger, arrogance, greed, and ego...
ho santankā cherā;
Because a disciple of a Sant.
Muktānand kahe mahāsukh pāve,
Muktanand Swami says you will attain great bliss.
