Guidelines for Satsang Mukhpath

• સત્સંગ મુખપાઠમાં કુલ ૫૦૦ અવતરણો છે, જે ૨૫ અવતરણોના ૨૦ પુષ્પોમાં વિભાજીત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. સૌને તૈયારી કરવામાં સરળતા રહે તે માટે તમામ પુષ્પોના બધા જ અવતરણોનો મુખપાઠ એક સાથે આપવાનો નથી. પરંતુ જેમ જેમ ૨૫ અવતરણોનું એક પુષ્પ મોંઢે થતું જાય તેમ તેમ તેનો મુખપાઠ આપવાનો રહેશે.
• There are 500 total quotations to be memorized. Twenty-five quotations are divided into 20 pushpas. For ease of oral testing, there will be no cumulative testing at the end. Participants are encouraged to submit their mukhpath as they complete each pushpa rather than waiting until the end. Participants will recite their mukhpath with an assigned judge as they complete each pushpa (a set of 25 quotations).
• મુખપાઠના અવતરણોની પુસ્તિકામાં જે ક્રમમાં પુષ્પો મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે એ જ ક્રમમાં મુખપાઠ આપવાનો રહેશે. દા.ત. પુષ્પ-૧ના અવતરણો મોંઢે થાય પછી પછી તેનો મુખપાઠ સફળતાપૂર્વક આપ્યા પછી જ પુષ્પ-૨ના અવતરણોનો મુખપાઠ આપી શકાશે.
• Participants must start with Pushpa 1 and move chronologically through the pushpas.
• દરેક પષ્પના ૨૫ અવતરણોમાંથી મુખપાઠ લેતી વખતે તેમાંથી કોઈ પણ ૫ અવતરણો પૂછવામાં આવશે.
• Judges will select and ask participants to recite any 5 out of the 25 quotations from the pushpa being tested.
• જે તે અવતરણ પૂછતી વખતે મુખપાઠ લેનાર કાર્યકર આપને અવતરણની શરૂઆતના લખાણમાં લીટી કરેલા શબ્દો કહેશે, આપે તે અવતરણનો બાકીનો ભાગ રજૂ કરવાનો રહેશે.
• Judges will initiate testing by prompting participants with underlined words from the provided material. Participants will then complete the mukhpath based on the given prompt.
• આપના મંદિરની રવિસભાના દિવસે દર અઠવાડિયે મુખપાઠ લેવા માટે નિમાયેલા સ્થાનિક કાર્યકરો હાજર હશે. મંદિરના સત્સંગ એડમીન આપને મુખપાઠ આપવાની વ્યવસ્થામાં મદદ કરશે.
• Participants will have the opportunity to recite their mukhpath in person each week on the day of your Ravi Sabha. Your local Satsang Admin will provide you with specific instructions on how to submit your mukhpath.

 

• વચનામૃતનો મુખપાઠ રજૂ કરતી વખતે તેના અવતરણ અને તેના સંદર્ભ - એ બંને યાદ રાખવા અને રજૂ કરવા જરૂરી છે. વચનામૃતનું મથાળું યાદ રહે તો સારું, પણ રજૂઆત વખતે ફરજિયાત નથી. વચનામૃત સિવાયના તમામ અવતરણોના સંદર્ભો યાદ રહે તો સારું, પરંતુ મુખપાઠ આપતી વખતે તે રજૂ કરવા ફરજિયાત નથી.

ઉદાહરણ તરીકે:

ભગવાનના સંતની સેવા તો બહુ મોટા પુણ્યવાળાને મળે છે પણ થોડા પુણ્યવાળાને મળતી નથી. (ગઢડા મધ્ય ૫૯: પરમ કલ્યાણનું)

શરૂઆતના શબ્દો - પૂછનાર કહેશે → ભગવાનના સંતની સેવા

અવતરણ - મુખપાઠ માટે જરૂરી → ભગવાનના સંતની સેવા તો બહુ મોટા પુણ્યવાળાને મળે છે પણ થોડા પુણ્યવાળાને મળતી નથી.

સંદર્ભ - મુખપાઠ માટે જરૂરી → ગઢડા મધ્ય ૫૯

મથાળું - મરિજયાત → પરમ કલ્યાણનું

• When reciting Vachanamrut quotations, you must include the reference number. The title is optional. For all other quotations, both the reference number and title are optional.

Transliteration Example:

Bhagwānnā Santni seva to bahu motā punyavālāne male chhe pan thoda punyavālāne malti nathi. (Gadhadā II-59: Param Kalyānnu)

Opening words - Judge will say → Bhagwānnā Santni sevā

Quote - Compulsory for mukhpath → Bhagwannā Santni sevā to bahu motā punyavālāne male chhe pan thoda punyavālāne malti nathi.

Reference - Compulsory for mukhpath → Gadhada II - 59

Title - optional → Param Kalyānnu

English Example:

Only those who have accumulated a great number of merits from performing good deeds receive the opportunity to serve God’s Sant, but those who have a few merits do not. (Gadhadā II-59: Ultimate Liberation)

Opening Words - Judge will say → Only those who have accumulated

Quote - Compulsory for mukhpath → Only those who have accumulated a great number of merits from performing good deeds receive the opportunity to serve God's Sant, but those who have a few merits do not.

Title - optional → Ultimate Liberation

• શ્લોક-સાખી કે કીર્તન કડી જેવા પદ્ય કે ગેય અવતરણોનો રાગ-ઢાળમાં મુખપાઠ રજૂ કરવો ઇચ્છનીય છે, પણ ફરજિયાત નથી. સંસ્કૃત અવતરણો માટે શ્લોકોને સંસ્કૃત ભાષામાં અથવા તો તેને બદલે ગુજરાતી અનુવાદનો મુખપાઠ રજૂ કરી શકાશે.
• It is Mahant Swami Maharaj’s ruchi for participants to memorize the Sanskrit shlokas as given. However, Swamishri has stated that if participants find it extremely difficult to memorize in Sanskrit, they may submit their mukhpath in their selected language track as a last resort.
• કેટલાક અવતરણોની સાથે કૌંસમાં લાલ અક્ષરે લખેલા શબ્દો મૂળ અવતરણની સ્પષ્ટતા માટે આપેલ છે. મુખપાઠ વખતે આ શબ્દો બોલવાના નથી.
• Text in red parentheses is included for clarity and better understanding of the quotations. This text does NOT need to be memorized and will NOT be tested.
• For English Mukhpath only - The following categories must be memorized exactly as written in the transliteration and attempted to be sung in their raag composition:

  • Bhaktachintamani kadis
  • Harililāmrut kadis
  • Nishkulānand Kavya kadis
  • Chosath Padi kadis
