Gadhadā II-62

The date of this Vachanāmrut is Māgshar sud 2 of Samvat 1881. When studying Shriji Mahārāj’s jivan-charitra, He is actually present in Surat because on Kārtik sud 12 of Samvat 1881, He had performed the murti-pratishthā of Vartāl. During the pratishthā, the devotees of Surat yielded their wish to post a flag over the shrine of Harikrishna Mahārāj’s shrine. (Brahmānand Swāmi had given his word to the devotees of Surat that if they give the opportunity to plant a flag over Harikrishna Mahārāj’s shrine to the devotees of Vadodarā, Mahārāj would come to Surat.) In order to fulfill Brahmānand Swāmi promise, Mahārāj went to Surat on Kārtik vad 6 (Friday). Mahārāj gave the devotees the bliss of His presence and left Surat on the day this Vachanāmrut is dated. Therefore, it is impossible for Mahārāj to be present in Gadhadā if He was just leaving Surat for Gadhadā on this day.

However, Shriji Mahārāj had assumed a second form and preached this Vachanāmrut in Gadhadā. This has been mentioned in Harililāmrut:

Bani e ja divas ek vāt, e to āshcharyakārī aghāt;

That same day, an incident occurred, certainly a wonder.

Gaḍhapur-jan ātur thayā, anna-jaḷ taji kaik to rahyā.

The devotees of Gadhpur became eager (for Mahārāj’s darshan) and stopped eating and drinking.

Kare vinati te gad-gad thaine, āvo he Kṛuṣhṇa sau sāth laine;

They prayed passionately for Mahārāj to return with everyone else.

Nahī āvo jo Shyām sujāṇ, tajashu ame nishchay prāṇ.

If you don’t return, we will certainly abandon our body.

Tyāre bīje rūpe Mahārāj, gayā Gaḍhpur sahit samāj;

So Mahārāj came to Gadhpur in a second form, along with the entourage.

Māgashar sudi bīje tyā Hari, beṭhā darabārmā sabhā bharī.

On Māgshar sud 2, Mahārāj sat in the assembly held in the darbār.

Bhrātṛuputroye pūchhiyā prashne, āpyā uttar enā Shrī Kṛuṣhṇe;

The sons of Mahārāj’s brothers (Ayodhyāprasādji and Raghuvirji) asked questions and Mahārāj answered them.

Vachanāmṛut tenu lakhāṇu, nathi koīnu te to ajāṇyu.

A Vachanāmrut was written recounting this dialog, it is not unknown to anyone.

Vachanāmrut Gadhadā II-62 is a miraculous account recorded in history.
