શાસ્ત્રોમાં આવતાં પાત્રો
કંસની એક દાસીનું નામ કુબ્જા હતું. તે શરીરે ત્રણ જગ્યાએથી વાંકી હતી, માટે ત્રીવક્રા કરીને પણ ઓળખાય છે. કંસે જ્યારે કૃષ્ણ અને બળરામને ધનુર્યાગને બહાને ગોકુળથી મથુરા તેડાવ્યા, તે વખતે કંસને લેપ કરવાનું ચંદન તેણે શ્રીકૃષ્ણને લેપન કર્યું, તેથી પ્રસન્ન થઈને કૃષ્ણે તેનું કૂબડાપણું ટાળી દીધું.

Kubjā was one of the servants of Kansa. She had three deformities in three parts of her body (hence also known as Trivakrā) and walked with a hunched back. When Kansa called Krishna and Balrām to Mathura from Gokul on the pretext of the bow sacrifice, she applied the sandalwood paste meant for Kansa on Krishna instead. Pleased with her, Krishna fixed her deformities.
