Kāriyāni 12

Gunātitānand Swāmi arrived in the orchard of Junagadh mandir. There, the bordi trees were being dug up. He asked the workers to bring the roots to him. Swāmishri took each tree’s roots in his hands and said for each one, “This one’s kāran body has been destroyed.” Rays of light would emanate from Swāmishri’s eyes and fall on the tree roots. Jāgā Bhakta asked Swāmishri, “Swāmi, Mahārāj has said the kāran body is destroyed by meditating on his form and by following his commands. What spiritual endeavors did these bordi roots do such that their kāran body was destroyed?”

Swāmishri laughed and answered, “When Bhagwān or the Motā-Purush use their anyathā-kartum powers, there is no need for spiritual endeavors.”

Hearing the answer, Jāgā Swāmi understood how fortunate these bordi trees must be that Swāmishri’s drashti fell on them.
