Shāmji Bhagat could not overcome the grief of Yogiji Mahārāj reverting to Akshardhām. Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj tried to consol him, “You want to see mass of light? You cannot see what is up there (meaning the form of Bhagwān in Akshardhām) and you do not have faith in this down here (referring to himself - the manifest form of Bhagwān on earth). So what will happen? Read Vartāl 11. Developing intense affection toward the Satpurush is the means to realizing one’s ātmā and having the direct realization of Bhagwān.”

Shāmji Bhagat still could not convince himself of this. So, one day, he saw Pramukh Swāmi Mahārāj in Yogiji Mahārāj’s place three times in his dream. Seeing their oneness, he realized that there is no difference between the two. They are one and the same. That Shāmji Bhagat later became Sadhu Purushottamdās.
