Vachanamrut Essence

Kāriyāni-9

  1. Someone who has a spiteful obstinacy that develops into a grudge for someone and never forsakes that grudge but continues to be obstinate like a buffalo cannot be called a sadhu.
  2. A person who possesses the bhakti of God in his heart and realises the greatness of God:
  1. Would never develop a spiteful obstinacy towards a devotee of God.
  2. Would never see faults of devotees, however minor they may be.
  3. Would never develop animosity toward the devotees of God.
  4. Would look upon the devotees who have come into contact with God as equivalent to deities.
  5. Should be known to be a perfect satsangi.
  1. One who has not realized the greatness of God and his devotees:
  1. Develops animosity toward the devotees of God.
  2. Should be known as being half-fallen, even if he is a satsangi.
