Vachanamrut Essence

Kāriyāni-12

  1. Just as the skin of a tamarind seed is firmly attached to the seed, the kāran body is attached to the jiva.
  2. Just as when the seed is roasted over a fire, the skin becomes detached and can then be peeled off easily, similarly, when the kāran body is ‘roasted’ by the meditation and words of God, it becomes separated from the jiva just as easily.
  3. Whatever one hears during the wakeful state, contemplates on it in the antahkaran, and the jivas endorses it, then that becomes thoroughly consolidated.
  4. By listening to discourses of God with faith and love:
  1. The mind becomes stable and free of desires for vishays.
  2. All of his flaws would be eradicated.
  3. He becomes incapable of indulging in the panchvishays.
