Gadhadā II-38

  1. Whoever has faith in charms, spells or witchcraft, even though he may be a satsangi, should be considered to be half-fallen.
  2. One who possesses the virtue of ātmā-realisation, vairāgya, dharma, and profound bhakti for God is called an ekāntik bhakta.
  3. One who is an ekāntik bhakta ‘merges’ into God; but one who is not an ekāntik bhakta ‘merges’ into Brahmā or other deities.
  4. One who has merged with God:
  1. He does not develop affection for anything except God.
  2. He continuously thinks of God.
  3. If he lives without God, he would pass his days in misery but would not be happy.
