Vachanamrut Essence

Vartāl-5

  1. One who has the firm conviction of God having realised God transcends māyā, then he also becomes devoid of māyik qualities and transcends māyā.
  2. A devotee who has sought total refuge of God:
  1. Abandons all other forms of dharma and accepts the refuge of God only.
  2. Even if he were to experience pain equivalent to that of final dissolution, would not believe anyone else to be his guardian against such misery except God.
  3. Does not consider anyone but God to be the source of happiness.
  4. Behaves only according to the wishes of God.
  1. One who does not have complete refuge of God:
  1. His deceit can be recognized only after staying and working together with him.
  2. He would not be able to tolerate the pressure of living with the fellowships of devotees.
  1. If one serves God and his ideal Sant with utmost love, then if he were to be liberated after one hundred lives, he would instead be liberated in this very life.
