Vachanamrut Essence

Gadhadā III-30

  1. For the sake of revealing the ideals of a devotee, Shriji Mahārāj talks about what he likes:
  1. He likes one who worships and offers bhakti to God with the firm conviction that God, forever possessing a form, resides in his abode Akshardhām.
  2. He likes one who engages in spiritual endeavours in order to please God without any form of pretentiousness.
  1. For the liberation of His devotees, Shriji Mahārāj reveals His constant awareness of five thoughts:
  1. At this second, at this very moment, I will die and leave this body.
  2. The thought that, even though death is certain, this much work has already been accomplished and this much work is left, which I would like to complete.
  3. Has desires for the panchvishays been eradicated from My mind or not?
  4. Has desires for the panchvishays in senior sādhus and senior devotees been eradicated or not?
  5. I should not become dejected, because it is good that by My association everyone happily engages in the bhakti of God.
  1. Performing bhakti of God in this manner is the only great benefit of living.
