Gadhadā III-38

  1. All forms that are the result of the entities evolved from māyā are false.
  2. Supreme Purushottam Bhagwān who resides in Akshardhām:
  1. He and all of the muktas are satya, divine, luminous, possess two arms, and are characterised by eternal existence, consciousness and bliss [sachchidānand-rup].
  2. He manifests on this earth out of compassion for the purpose of granting liberation to the jivas.
  3. He is our Ishtadev and accepts our service.
  4. He is the lord of all of the ishwars and the cause of all causes. He reigns supreme, and He is the cause of all of the avatārs. He is worthy of being worshipped single-mindedly.
  1. Means to remain eternally happy:
  1. Eradicating greed for wealth and desire to associate with women.
  2. Eradicating cravings of the tongue for various tastes.
  3. Not believing one’s self is the body.
  4. Not developing affection for kusangis and one’s relatives.
  5. Maintaining nivrutti.
  6. Not keeping the company of equals.
  7. Not indulging in vishays by abandoning one’s niyams.
  8. Attaching one’s jiva to and acting according to commands [by thought, word and deed] of the great Sant who does not identify his self with the body, who possesses vairāgya, and who feels that he has transgressed a major injunction of God even if he has transgressed a minor injunction.
