Vachanamrut Essence
Gadhadā I-73
- Whenever a thought related to women arises in the mind, semen is discharged through the genitals; if one does not allow this, he has conquered lust and is called an urdhvaretā brahmachāri.
- Means to becomes free of lust by God’s grace:
- Maintain the strength of God’s upāsanā.
- Become free of desires from the panchvishays.
- Worship God.
- Means to become free from worldly desires:
- Ātmā-realisation, understand the greatness of God, and vairāgya.
- Become free of flaws by understanding the great Purush to be free of flaws.
- When one becomes free from worldly desires, then his indriyas no longer remain sharp and his desire to enjoy worldly pleasures is eradicated.
- Reasons for coming out of samādhi:
- If one still harbours desires for worldly pleasures, the worldly pleasures will draw him out.
- If one is extremely powerful, he can return according to his own will.
- If another person is much more powerful than himself, that person can bring him back.
- When in samādhi, if one regards the form of the manifest Purushottam Bhagwān to be inferior and believes the light of Brahma to be superior, a breach in upāsanā is committed.
- One who has surrendered his mind:
- He is enthusiastic in darshan of God and listening to the talks of God.
- He remains happy living according to the commands of God.
- Even if he is hundreds of thousands of miles away, he is near Shriji Mahārāj.
- One who has not surrendered his mind:
- He may be staying close to Shriji Mahārāj, yet he is hundreds of thousands of miles away.
- Shriji Mahārāj is afraid of even giving advice to him as He fears, ‘Will he accept it positively or adversely?”
